Fantastic prices for uncomplicated cuts, trims, and lineups. I'm here every two weeks to maintain an undercut and they always do a great job for an unbeatable price. No appointments necessary. If you need something simple, City Buzz is the best deal around!
This place is really hit or miss. Today was a big miss. I asked for a 4 on the sides but leave the top alone. She went up way too high so the top has sections of a 4 cut with trimmers. It was really rushed. Rushed even more than Great Clips. I was in the chair for about 4 minutes. My face was covered with hair that wasn’t brushed off. I had to roll down the car window and stick my head outside like a dog to get it off my face.

I took my very rambunctious kids into City Buzz for haircuts for all 3 of us. Sandy and another hair dresser (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name!) took less than 15 minutes to finish all of us. My kids barely had time to register they could start trouble. They seemed to inherently understand that time was of the essence and got me and my kids in and out with superb talent! Thank you. I will never go anywhere else.
When I moved back to Granite City, I needed to find a new hairstylist. The gals here are always friendly and I've gotten a great cut every time! It's the only place I go now!

I went right after work tonight, I was just a walk in, probably about 7:30 at night. I didn’t even have to wait in line or anything. The lady that cut my hair is 100% the nicest, most fashionable, funny, and just all in all great person. She asked me about my job, we talked about hair, my pregnancy, and so much more. She answered any questions I had. She did a wonderful job on my hair. It was the best hair cut I’ve had. It was exactly what I wanted. I can’t get over how nice, friendly, and fun the environment was. It makes you not want to leave! I forgot the lady’s name. I believe it was Katherine or something like that, but she did so awesome. If you go in, as for the nice lady with brown and purple hair! You really won’t regret it!
I came in asking for a wolf cut and showed the lady a photo, and then she gave me a super short bob. It was nothing like the photo I showed her and my hair was more than long enough to the look or something along the lines of it. Before I could put all my hair in a pony tail and now it’s so short that I can’t pull any of it back. I do not recommend this place at all.
